Our Daily Happenings...

We're settling into our new "normal;" we have our happy days and our stressed can-we-make-this-work?! days.  With the both of us working full time (and Greg going to school part-time) we relish and cherish the waking hours we have with our son.  As a result we let a few things "go" that we really wish were still "here." One day we may figure out how to keep the dishes washed and put away, the laundry folded and in drawers and the coffee table free of clutter... but even if we don't, we try to remind ourselves that our "free" time is spent where it counts the most - with Alden (and EACH OTHER!!).

On a walk with my little man, trying to cultivate a love for the outdoors in him from the get-go.

Greg left us alone last weekend, and we had a few melt-downs.  I took this picture 'cause he was crying these alligator tears that were getting caught under his eyes by his really big oh-so-kissable cheeks.

6AM on the weekend seems so early when going to bed the night before, but hanging out with this little one makes it hard to lament the loss of my "sleep in" day.

What?  I share.

This is how we grocery shop.
Alden was asleep within 5 minutes after taking this picture...

Almost sitting up... more of a supported lean.

Good friend's daughter loving on Alden - see his big grin?  He was unusually happy for his how late it was.

Daddy (and Opo) is happy this onesie fits!!
